Commercial aircraft passengers are subject to a thorough screening at airports thanks to the regulations set by the Transport Security Authority (TSA). From government-issued identification to comprehensive checks of personal items, the average traveler sees it all. On the flip side, private jet passengers enjoy a rather clement security screening before boarding their jets. Passengers of private and business jets can often drive up to the aircraft with minimal or no security screening. They are also allowed to carry firearms and other items prohibited by the TSA for commercial travel.
