About Giacomo Amati

Journalist - Giacomo comes with three years of experience as an aviation journalist. To him, aviation is much more than an interest; it's an abiding passion. To further his understanding of this fascinating and complex world, Giacomo pursued a master's in Air Transport Management at the University of Surrey, UK, where he graduated with distinction in April 2022. His studies provided him with a solid grasp of airline strategy, fleet and network planning, aviation finance, and marketing.

Giacomo has never missed the chance to continuously further his industry knowledge. At the University of Surrey, he volunteered as a research assistant in aviation sustainability. Additionally, he gained hands-on experience in the airline industry by working for renowned carriers of the likes of Emirates, Lufthansa, and British Airways, where he currently works as a Corporate Account Manager based in Dublin, Ireland.
