Chicago is one of the world's busiest aviation hubs. Here are the five top providers of flights from the Windy City in January 2024.

Chicago is one of the largest aviation hubs in the US, attracting both business and leisure demand. The city is served by mainly two airports: Chicago O'Hare (ORD) and Chicago Midway (MDW).
All three US full-service carriers, Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, and United Airlines, benefit from a strong position in this market. Delta Air Lines is the only one of the three carriers operating both at O'Hare and Midway.
Southwest is the low-cost carrier with the most flights from Chicago. The budget airline's stronghold is at Chicago Midway, with O'Hare departures being just 14% of those at Midway.
