Southwest Airlines is now equipping its emergency medical kits with Narcan, a medication that can reverse opioid overdoses.
The decision to carry Narcan comes after a passenger pleaded with the airline to carry the drug.
The airline follows three other US carriers that already have their fleets equipped with the medication.
