Hainan Airlines has returned to Africa with flights to Cairo, Egypt.

Hainan Airlines resumes non-stop flights between Shenzhen and Cairo, marking its return to Egypt after 13 years.
The flight route will be operated thrice weekly using Hainan's Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
Hainan Airlines is the only carrier operating flights between Shenzhen and Egypt, offering additional connections between the two nations.
