Established in 2014, Momentum Ventures is a holding company for some of the travel industry’s most interesting and innovative brands. Having seen great success with its FlightHub, justfly.com, and Flygreen brands, the firm has recently revealed a new brand in its collection - CruiseHub.

Simple Flying had the opportunity to sit down with CEO Matt Keezer to find out more about what makes this company tick, and what’s planned for the future.

Innovative business focus

What began with FlightHub has expanded into a collection of brands that look to shake up the travel market for the better. As well as being able to provide reliable online booking services, Momentum Ventures looks to introduce fresh, dynamic concepts into the industry. Keezer recalled the inspiration for branching out, explaining,

“The growth of FlightHub inspired us to explore how we could extend similar success across the travel sector. The aim was to channel the insights and strategies that contributed to FlightHub's success into a greater platform that could support and scale various business ventures in the travel domain. This would create an environment conducive to starting businesses in the travel landscape.”

Following on from the success of FlightHub, Momentum’s ticket sales platform justfly.com has been successful for over a decade. Created by a team of technological experts, justfly.com has a clear mission to sell the cheapest airline tickets to its customers.

In a nutshell, Momentum Ventures is dedicated to enhancing customer experiences, optimizing technological infrastructure, and supporting strategic business growth within the travel sector. Having survived the pandemic through what Matt Keezer calls an “all-hands-on-deck approach,” the company has been able to return to business as usual rapidly and even embrace expansion into new verticals.

Growth ahead

One of the company’s newer brands, Flygreen, looks to bring to the front responsible private jet travel. Providing quality, personalized services for every unique itinerary, Flygreen has access to more than 7,000 private aircraft, with options to suit every traveler. In addition to planning trips for individuals, the brand excels when it comes to group bookings and corporate travel. From commercial charters to large business jets, Flygreen’s personalized touch and expert support makes it a top choice for making private travel arrangements.

Alongside this, the company supports various environmental initiatives, including forest expansion, habitat restoration, and air quality improvements. To date, the company has planted 22,434 trees and counting. Keezer added, “We are proud of the continued growth of our brand Flygreen, which combines a promise to provide efficient travel experiences with a commitment to environmental responsibility.”

Adding to its growth, Momentum Ventures unveiled its first cruise brand just last month. Taking inspiration from FlightHub for its customer-centric booking facilities, CruiseHub promises humility and a human touch that will take the stress out of cruise bookings for both seasoned sailors and first-time explorers. Keezer said,

“We envision a future where planning a cruise is an exciting and stress-free experience, and CruiseHub is here to contribute to that vision by embracing the best of both worlds – the efficiency of technology complemented by the warmth of human connection.”

A positive outlook

Turning our attention to 2024, Keezer shared some positive outlooks for the coming year, particularly for Momentum Venture’s emerging brands. He anticipates healthy growth for CruiseHub, building on the success of its launch this year. For FlightHub, and justfly.com, Momentum Ventures continues to innovate, with exciting new initiatives on the horizon. Flygreen is poised for expansion with upcoming strategic initiatives.
