Nelson Airport installed six plane spotting panels along the Airport Perimeter Walkway, providing an unobstructed view of the diverse fleet of aircraft taking off and landing.
Visitors can explore information boards displaying various aircraft details. They should plan their visit according to the wind direction and weather.
Nelson Airport hosts an annual plane spotting photo competition. Beyond the plane spotting loop, the airport has other initiatives like its sustainability project, Project 2-Zero.
